Food wastage: Farmers lose billions to post-harvest mishandling

Agriculture is Uganda’s backbone as many derive livelihoods from it, directly or indirectly. But as RONALD MUGABE discovers, food wastage through mishandling of harvests, is an issue letting the sector down, with the situation worse in famine-hit Karamoja sub-region.
