The African Centre for Media Excellence is pleased to invite applications for its forthcoming training on media and electoral democracy.
The training seeks to empower participants with the requisite skills and knowledge to report on electoral processes. The project hopes to create a team of “newsroom champions” with the ability to train and mentor colleagues in their respective newsrooms in covering elections.

Who should apply
Journalists, editors, talk-show hosts/producers
At least 3-years of reporting experience
Available slots: 25

Female and upcountry–based journalists are particularly encouraged to apply

How to apply
Fill in and submit the COMPLETED application form online; or
Download the form, COMPLETE it and send it to info@acme-ug.org with a copy to pkimumwe@acme-ug.org
Alternatively, you may COMPLETE, print and bring the copy to ACME offices located in Bunga-Soya, Ggaba Road.

Ask you supervisor to write a letter of support for your application and send it to info@acme-ug.org with a copy to pkimumwe@acme-ug.org

Training is scheduled for Tuesday 10 to Friday 13 February 2015

ACME will pay for hotel accommodation for all participants from outside Kampala for the duration of the training.
