What happened
The elder brother of singer and politician Bobi Wine, Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu survived being beaten to death by the men in uniform. This was during the mobilization of NUP’s team in Western Uganda in Kyenjojo.
Nyanzi was beaten badly by gun-wielding men and at one point appeared to have lost consciousness. The police and military attacked the leaders as they went to induct and launch Mobilisation Teams for Tooro Sub-region in Kyenjojo District.
