What happened
Members of the Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) political group; Deputy Sub-Regional Spokesperson for Tooro Sub-region Mr. Tusiime Chris with Rev. Kintu Willy Muhanga the Former Mayor Fort Portal Municipality and 4 others were remanded to Katojo Prison until 11th April 2023 after their bail application was denied in court. The six were arrested on Wednesday 29th March in Busoro while returning from a prayer session which was intended to break the curses and chains of unfulfilled pledges made by the NRM government to Tooro including the Industrial park.
