WHAT HAPPENED
Two journalists, Muganga Brian Kivumbi of News 24/7 and Brian Mubiru of Bukedde TV, were assaulted outside Nabweru Chief Magistrates Court in Nansana, Wakiso district. The attack on the journalists took place on 6 October, 2022 while as they covered the outcome of a contentious land case. The journalists say they were assaulted, unprovoked, by Edgar Kakoma of Bloom Advocates and his client, case defendant Joseph Muyinza.
