It will introduce you to today’s media landscape and show you how to navigate it. You will learn innovative media engagement tactics and develop strategic approaches and techniques for pro-active engagement with journalists.

Who can apply?

This course is designed for staff of non-profit organisations with some existing knowledge and experience in communications or public relations. It is tailored to meet the needs of organisations working on oil and gas governance and natural resource management advocacy in the Albertine region.

While applications from all organisations working in this area are welcome, preferential treatment will be given to applicants from non-profit organisations based in Kasese, Hoima, Buliisa, Bundibugyo, Arua, Nebbi, Amuru and Nwoya districts.
