It’s almost a given that any road works in Uganda will be met by quarrels, resistance and demands for compensation by those being displaced.
In a special report, CHRIS KIWAWULO reveals how Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has accumulated billions of shillings in compensation debts due to thousands of beneficiaries, some of whom have since died.
