Is mediation programme backfiring on the judiciary? Part I

The Judiciary in Uganda has been encouraging mediation as an alternative to dispute resolution that is cheaper and quicker in most cases. However, as DERRICK KIYONGA, the mechanism has been derailed by lack of commitment and poor funding.
