On March 31st, the Supreme Court of Uganda dismissed an election petition filed by presidential candidate Amama Mbabazi challenging the re-election of President Yoweri Museveni in February 2016. Mr Mbabazi sighted various irregularities in the February 18 election in which he came third. Below, the nine justices give detailed reasons why the petition was dismissed.
